Everyday life in the Roman Agora of Thessaloniki: Time travel
Do you want your students to become the heroes of history?
Through the educational live role play (Edu-L.A.R.P.) children are transported to the Roman era. They are called upon through a series of missions and roles to find solutions to everyday problems of that time, to manage situations by actively using the body and mind. Through the whole process of the educational game, motivated by the successful completion of all their missions, they manage to experience the socio-political relations of the people of that time, as well as commercial transactions, to internalize monetary transactions and finally to understand the needs of people of that time. Subduedprominent historical figures are known and given the opportunity to wear period clothing/costumes.
